About Melinda Yeary
Residing in the Highland’s area for over 20 years - I am an expert in the Highlands & Sloan’s Lake areas. I thrive on bringing the excitement of these, and other, neighborhoods to buyers.
Currently, there is so much change and growth in this area that, at this moment, I can show a buyer dozens of new-build developments in a day. There are also many new listings, daily, of existing historic homes that I can show you as well. Being in these neighborhoods and viewing many properties weekly, I am aware of new inventory and the trends that are taking place. I can assist you in making a well-informed, smart investment in your future.

What Clients Are Saying About Melinda…
"Melinda helped my family purchase one home and sell the other. There were so many details and dates to coordinate. Melinda took care of details and directed us on many important things: inspections, loans etc. She made it appear effortless (although, I am sure it wasn’t). She also negotiated some tough issues on our behalf. We are so happy with the outcome!"
- Rick and Joyce Lopez
"Relocating out of state for a job is always stressful. I have moved so often and have met many agents, this stood out as my most successful move ever. As my agent, Melinda went above and beyond while successfully marketing my Cherry Creek property: from her assessment and positioning of the property, to her open houses (which created a successful synergy between buyers), the combination resulting in a full priced offer and close within 20 days. The property sold at the top dollar! This was important to me as my move happened quickly and it allowed me to purchase in the new location with perfect transition. I also appreciated her attention to detail, as I was traveling much of the time."

Q&A With Melinda…
Where do you LIVE?
I live in the Sloan’s Lake area now- have also lived in Berkeley/Highlands for a total of 18 years- Love it! Have enjoyed watching the positive changes take place!
Why Real Estate... Aren't There Enough Agents On The Planet Already?
This career is a perfect fit for me as I enjoy the many changing aspects of the marketplace, from interest rates to zoning to schools & neighborhoods. I also feel that this is a career which requires commitment and preparation-one that is built on reputation and referrals- all of which I take very seriously.
What Music Is Currently In Your iPod?
Lyle Lovett, Jackson Brown, Johnny Cash, Emmy Lou Harris & other Americana, Ethyl and the Regulars (my brother’s local Rockabilly/Americana band), Madonna, U2, Nora Jones, Janet Jackson, Tom Petty - a little bit of everything!
What Cause Gets Your Time And Money?
Friends of Red Rocks – as a founding member, I donate time to the benefit of the park and its significance to our area. The latest is the improvement and historic preservation of the barracks used by the Civilian Conservation Corp (C.C.C) who were responsible, during the Great Depression, for building many parks in the U.S. We were lucky to have the CCC complete Red Rocks Amphitheatre & we are raising money to keep their contribution part of Colorado history. I also donate to Divine Feline. A very dedicated veterinarian, Dr. Erica Rambus, runs a non-profit for the humane neuter/spay of feral cats. She has a mobile unit and has altered (and vaccinated) over 9,000 cats at this time. She makes a difference in the over population problem and suffering of kitties with no homes.
Give It Up. What Local Restaurant Is Your Best Kept Secret?
I love many local restaurants, from Little India to Bang! to Wazee Supper Club. Have enjoyed Z Cuisine, Duo, and Lola too. So many restaurants, so little time!
